Do you have a Sprint BlackBerry 9630 Tour that you are using on a GSM carrier,yet still have the "Activation Required" message at the top?

I provide the MSL and ALT MSL codes to remove the "Activation Required" message at the top of the screen, which will in turn show the active carrier (TMobile, AT&T, etc).

Please note, this is NOT a SIM unlock. There are other SIM unlock ads on here if you are needing to get the SIM Unlocked.

These codes are the CDMA Service Edit Screen unlock codes. Once you receive your code, simply type ##MSLCODE and then hit the green talk button.

You will be taken to the CDMA Service Edit Screen. On the top line, delete out the 000000xxxx and replace it with your number (Including area code, no dashes).

Once done, hit the Menu Key (to the left of the trackball) and select SAVE. The device will reboot. When the device reboots to the main screen, the "Activation Required" message will be removed and the active carrier will be displayed.

Please note, if the MSL unlock code is ordered and the MEID comes back as lost or stolen in the system, the MSL code cannot be obtained and a refund will immediately be issued along with a screenshot showing that MEID has been flagged as such.

The information which I need to unlock is: 1. The MEID DEC from the BlackBerry. This can be found by going to Options>Status on the BlackBerry. It can also be found on the sticker underneath the battery on the device. The MEID will start with 26843. 2. An email address to send the MSL Unlock code to.

You will receive your MSL code in 24-72 hours. Do not expect codes on the weekend.
